Taking too long can lead to missed loan payments, late fees, and even repossession or foreclosure. Here are the steps to take when a borrower dies: 1. **Notify autoMHatic as soon as possible**: Communicate in writing that the loan holder has passed away. Include the borrower’s name, address, date of death, and basic loan information, like the account number.
